MN State Fair with the Faletti Family!!

On Sunday afternoon, August 24th, we packed up the boys and the double stroller and headed to the Minnesota State Fair to meet up with our good friends, Mike and Desi Faletti, and their 3 children. With a grand total of 5 children, all under the age of 5, the kids ran the show... We stopped when we needed to stop, ate when we needed to eat, and hit all the rest areas possible. We had a great time! Parker and Braden did very well with all the action. In fact, as babies often do, they slept through most of their first State Fair experience.

"My Best Friend's Wedding"

Beth Barnes, my best friend for a good 20 years now, is now Beth Perry!! Ben and I were able to go to Beth and Troy's luau rehearsal dinner on Friday and outdoor wedding on Saturday, thanks to Grandma Kathe, who was able to watch the twins over the weekend. The weather was perfect and the wedding was amazing! My sister and her husband Jason put together a spectacular fireworks show to end the evening. Beth and Troy are now in Hawaii for their honeymoon.

Both Parker and Braden LOVE bath time! At 3 - 1/2 months, they have now grown out of their little counter-top tub and have graduated to the big-boy bathtub. They're getting so big!!

Here are the profile shots of "Twin A" and "Twin B". "Twin A" is shown on the bottom ultrasound and ended up being named Parker Jay, after Ben's Dad. "Twin B" is shown on the top ultrasound and ended up being named Braden Paul, after my Dad.

Ben's 30th Birthday!

The Abrams' Blog starts with Ben's 30th Birthday Party!!

We were able to celebrate Ben's 30th with our closest friends and family at Lakeville family bowl. That same night, we annouced that we were nearly 6 weeks pregnant! At that point, we did not yet know that we would be having TWINS!!
