Calhoun Walk with Grandma Kathe and Aunt Noe

This weekend we were able to spend time with Aunt Noe, who was in town from California. We were quite the crew! Three dogs, two babies, Kathe, Noe, Ben and I - all walking around Lake Calhoun together. We went out for pizza afterward, and took over the entire corner section of the restaurant! Things seem to spread out a little more with two babies along for the ride! It was good to see Noe, we'll miss her when she heads back to CA!!

Labor Day Weekend '08

Labor Day weekend started out with a family party on Saturday to celebrate my cousin Erik's retirement from the National Guard. On Sunday, we went for our regular walk around Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis and were able to meet up with Greg and Timmy Larson to watch them windsurf. Next year we'll try to get in a little more windsurfing of our own! Sunday night was game night and grill-out with our friends Reid and Carrie! We finished up the long weekend with a pool day at home on Monday. The boys experienced their first dip in the pool! It was a little cold, but Braden had a great time and Parker tolerated the water with a little less enthusiasm.
